Besides partners (co-owners of the firm) and lawyers who are connected to LEAN LAWYERS LLP through an employment contract, a number of lawyers (*) and legal advisors (**) also work for our firm as self-employed freelancers through an assignment agreement. Some of them are also associated with another law firm. They form The LEAN FlexPool and are also listed on this page.

When these lawyers work for clients of LEAN LAWYERS LLP, an agreement is established between LEAN LAWYERS LLP and the client. LEAN LAWYERS LLP is responsible for the work. If the lawyer or legal advisor makes a professional mistake, this is covered by our firm's professional liability insurance. If the client has a complaint about the lawyer or legal advisor who has carried out work on behalf of LEAN LAWYERS LLP, it can be submitted to our internal complaints officer. LEAN LAWYERS LLP as an organization will invoice the work of the employees in our FlexPool and our firm's general terms and conditions will apply when the assignment is given to LEAN LAWYERS LLP. This ensures that for clients, there is no difference as to which lawyer or legal advisor from LEAN is acting on their behalf.
