The Chamber of Commerce of the Netherlands sends reminders, but from an initial sample it appears that a very large number of organizations have not yet registered their Ultimate Beneficial Owners, or UBOs. From an initial sample, it appears that more than half (!) of the organizations that do have this obligation.
Urgency is high.
This, while the urgency is nonetheless exceptionally high. Is an organization not registering its UBOs or not registering them in time by March 27? Then a fine of up to EUR 22,500 could be imposed.
